Retro Modern Orb Ruby 1960s Glass Ball Ashtray
Largest orb ashtray in the Viking Art Glass line - Circa late 1950s through 1960s. Shown in old Viking Art Glass catalogs as part no. 6827.
In near new condition with original Viking sticker. Appears unused. Tiny surface wear scratches on the base, barely visible, called ‘Bottom-wear’ and caused by time passing.
High modernist decor. Beautiful, rich ruby red glass. Scarce in this color and condition.
The orb measures 6” wide, 8” deep and 5” at tallest. Made of thick walled glass, weighs 4 lbs.
This ball ashtray has 3 rests, two for smaller size smokes and one large rest in the center for cigars.
Very hard to find, especially in ruby red. In excellent condition - like new. Only 1 available.

Exquisite Vintage Venetian Gold Veil Art Glass Ashtray
Mesmerizing art glass cased in ruby and colorless crystal with layers of fine gold and silver veil sandwiched between. Lookes like an exotic jewel.
This beauty measures 5” wide and 2” tall, weighs 1 1/2 lbs. Nice medium size. Accommodates cigars to small smokes. Nice as an incense burner or candleholder too. Note: when burning modern candles in vintage glass, be sure to remove the metal wick tacks from the base of the candle first. Metal can get too hot and damage the glass, but melting wax is not harmful.
Made in the 1950s when Sophia Loren made the rich beauty of Venetian/Italian styles so popular in the U.S. Actual artist is unknown as this is not signed, but certainly came from one of the better glass houses like Salviati or Seguso.
In very good condition. Sparkling clean with no chips or chiggers. It has medium to heavy ‘bottom-wear’ as you can see in image 4. Bottom-wear is expected on heavy glass items over 50 years old, it is a sign of age caused by years of surface contact.

Luxurious mid-20th Century cigar ashtray made with quality green crystal.
Rich emerald green hand-blown colored lead crystal ashtray bowl with concentric bubbles.
Quality lead crystal is very reflective and it is hard to image because it picks up the white of the shoot tent. Without the reflections, this big ash bowl clearly shows the concentric trapped air-bubbles. The bubbles are actually visible everywhere on the ashtray.
Hand-made with polished pontil mark on the base. Probably made in Italy or Scandinavia, circa 1950s - 1960s. Made by a skilled glass artist.
Beautiful. Worthy of the finest cigars. Measures 8½” round and 3½” tall. Nice deep bowl with inverted rims. Big Ashtray…weighs just under 4 lbs. In perfect condition with light bottom-wear.

Pattern is sharp and 3-dimensional with detailed flora and fauna. The opaque light blue color has hints of milk and colorless opalescence on the rims and pattern tips. Fenton called this color ‘Peking Blue’.
Cleverly designed for multi-functions. Described as Fenton part no. 8478, ‘Ashtray/Chip ‘n Dip/Candle bowl. Each funtion is incorporated into this bowl to perfection. As an ashtray it accomodates any size smoke with 4 ‘V’ rests on the inner bowl, ruffles for balance on the outer rim, room for paraphernalia and a nice deep bowl to catch the ashes. As a chip ‘n dip the V rests turn into spoon rests, the inner bowl for the dip, the outer for the chips. As a candle holder, any size will fit in the inner bowl and the outer ring catches the wax and holds paraphernalia.
In perfect condition. Measures 8½” round, 2” tall. Weighs 3 lbs. Scarce Fenton glass masterpiece form made for only two years in a difficult to achieve and scarcely seen color.
Turtle Lovers Vintage Brass Ashtray
Cute turtle pair having sex.
Under the male’s shell is a hidden ashtray with two small rests. Vintage hand-made figurine in brass with warm even patina, circa 1940s/1950s.
In wonderful aged condition. Soft golden patine evenly distributed. No damage. The dark areas on the brass in the images are from reflection only. Measures 4” tall, 4½” long. Weighs just under 1½ lbs. Rare item.

Immense Ice Glass Ashtray by Blenko Art Glass
Stunning retro vintage art glass ashtray by Blenko. Huge ashtray accommodates all sizes of smokes, six or more smokers, with plenty of room left for paraphernalia, candles, incense, etc.
Weighs 7 lbs. Measures 10½” round and 2.25” tall. Has six long flat recessed rests and encircled by a 1” wide ledge that will balance anything from fat cigars to incense sticks.
The deep pattern resembles mountains and valleys of ice. The pattern was pressed on the bottom-side. The top-side is smooth with slight indentations opposite the mountain peaks. The slight indentations are great spots to snuff out smokes or place cone incense.
Hand-made by the infamous Blenko Art Glass in the early 1970s.
